Remembering Oscar

Oscar Gustavo Pagani (1962–2026) was a devoted father, beloved family member, gifted engineer and lifelong basketball player whose life spanned Uruguay, Argentina and California. From representing Uruguay in youth basketball and playing professionally in South America to building a distinguished engineering and software career at organizations including NASA Ames, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Trulia and Zillow, Oscar brought intelligence, curiosity and quiet persistence to everything he did. Above all, he cherished his daughter, Alessandra, his family, his friends and the communities that shaped his life. He will be remembered for his generosity, gentle temperament, love of basketball and deep devotion to the people he loved.
